Concept

Conceived as a seamless continuation of the architectural idea, the interiors of NEF Gölköy were designed in parallel with the architecture, with no strict boundary between inside and outside. Living spaces extend naturally toward the landscape, where generous terraces become an integral part of daily life and are understood as true extensions of the interior. This spatial expansion blurs the conventional limits between architecture and interior design, allowing the house to open outward both physically and experientially. Within this continuity, the architectural honesty and contextual material language are carried indoors, reinterpreted through warmer textures, softer finishes, and a more tactile expression that enhances comfort without compromising clarity.

Balanced proportions, and restrained detailing define the interior atmosphere, allowing light, materiality, and views to the surrounding landscape to shape the experience of the home. Natural textures, muted tones, and finely crafted surfaces introduce warmth and depth, ensuring that the minimalist approach feels calm and inviting rather than austere. Inspired by timeless architectural references, modernist furniture, and contemporary art, each space is designed as a coherent and serene environment where functionality and elegance coexist. Rather than relying on visual excess, the interiors achieve richness through precision, material quality, and a thoughtful relationship between architecture, furnishings, and everyday life.
