The project deals with contradictions such as grandeur and modesty, public and private, institutional and domestic, social and distinguished, together with structural and topographical considerations.

The Piazza surrounded by the F&B and retail units creates an alternative public space.
YALIKAVAK ELEMENTS
The villas are considered as composition of horizontal platforms that house the masses of internal spaces. The platforms are integrated and extend into the landscape. It’s different levels, evolve and form roofs, canopies, terraces, balconies, pools and sundecks.
MECIDIYEKOY TOWERS COMPLEX
The cornerstone of the settlement strategy was to set back and leave significant area to create a continuous, green, open public space with commercial activities as a breathing zone between the dense urban blocks of Mecidiyeköy.

The scheme can be regarded as an experimentation of mass fragmentation that problematizes the phenomenon of the stereotypical “large single house,” as it displays a concern about topography in three-dimensional sense which is developed regarding functional relationships and vistas on the land.
MASLAK NO.1
The curvilinear facade consists of rectangular modules reminiscent of fish scale and covered with a collection of translucent films to control sunlight. The opacity of the cover varies according to the orientation of the facade, denser in the south and transparent in the north.
KUZU EFFECT
With the use of austere urban gestures like unexpectedly recessing and overhanging curvilinear landscaped terraces, the perception of the mass alternates depending on the relative position of the viewer from the street.
