Located on Sabal Palm Road in the exclusive Bay Point Estates area, this house offers views of Biscayne Bay and downtown Miami. Gray-brown stone walls are contrasted with white surfaces that recall the architecture of the city. Upper-level timber shutters protect the west facade from the sun, while skylights bring ample natural light inside. Residents and visitors enter the foyer of the house by passing through a narrow opening in a rammed earth wall, then encounter an unexpected courtyard that features a reflecting pond in an oasis-like landscape and serves as the central core of the home. Inside, beginning with the foyer, there is a view of Biscayne Bay, but the view is partially obstructed further on, increasing the sense of dynamic space. The swimming pool features a lap area, a spa, and a lounging space with an infinity edge. The upper floor, where most of the rooms are located, offers views of the Biscayne Bay that celebrate a sense of tranquility.
