CONTEXT AND PLURALITY
The complete volume on the buildings and urban projects by EAA-Emre Arolat Architecture, the firm that won the 2010 Aga Khan Award for Architecture. The monography is a compilation of extraordinary and innovative projects by the award-winning architecture firm, founded in 2004 by Emre Arolat and Gonca Pasolar. The scope of EAA’s projects is all-encompassing, from luxury hotels to factories. EAA’s roots are in modernism’s honesty of structure, expression, and materials, yet they are undeniably influenced by Turkish vernacular. The book highlights thirty-four projects across Turkey, including the Istanbul Painting and Sculpture Museum, The Museum Hotel Antakya, Cukurova Regional Airport, Yalikavak Palmarina, Sancaklar Mosque, and Le Meridien Istanbul Etiler.
