In Conversation With Emre, 212 Photography

As a part of annual 212 Photography Istanbul event, Emre Arolat was in conversation with Sevim Aslan on October 15^th, 2020 at Soho House.

They talked over the importance of visualization and archival documentation for The Museum Hotel Antakya project designed by EAA – Emre Arolat Architecture with restoration consultancy of Sevim Aslan. In this context, Arolat explained the tension between the significance of archeological findings, their restrictions and the hotel’s strict programmatic codes. At the end of this discussion session, Arolat shared his thoughts about architectural photography with its pros and cons.
