Sancaklar Mosque by EAA – Emre Arolat Architecture has been awarded the 2018 Royal Institute of British Architects RIBA Award for International Excellence.
This globally recognized award is granted to the most transformative building which demonstrates visionary, innovative thinking, excellence of execution, and makes a distinct contribution to its users and physical context.
The Sancaklar Mosque is one of twenty buildings from 16 countries, awarded the prestigious prize this year. The winning projects all exemplify design excellence, architectural ambition and deliver meaningful social impact.
